Fat Melting
Although road tanker is the most common mode of transport oils and fats, certain feedstocks and finished products are transported as blocks creating the need for melting at the point of use. This is particularly true in the chocolate industry.

Ebortec has designed and supplied fat melting equipment for blocks of fat and cocoa butter. The equipment is suitable for block sizes of 12.5 to 25 kg and is designed for use with either hot water or low pressure steam.

Each unit is tailored to the clients requirements noting the fat to be melted, the storage temperature of the fat, the heat source and the required temperature of the melted fat. Capacities 200 to 1000 kg/hr.
